30 April - MCO Pop

The Malta Concert Orchestra will entertain the audience performing popular, evergreen, hit songs from artists such as Freddie Mercury, Kool & the Gang, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Toto and others.

28 May - MCO Big Band & Orchestra Jazz del Mediterraneo

This concert will see the Big Band of the Malta Concert Orchestra joining forces with the Orchestra Jazz del Mediterraneo in a new take on Vincenzo Bellini’s NORMA with the exceptional participation of renowned Italian trumpet player Paolo Fresu with arrangements by Paolo Silvestri.

11 June - MCO plays Bond

“The name is Bond … James Bond”
From the omnipresent James Bond theme and 007 theme to Goldfinger, Live and let die, From Russia with love, and other Bond film themes this concert promises to make you experience the thrills and spills of a James Bond movie through film.

30 July - Renato ...and friends

After a long and successful career one of Malta’s most loved and versatile singers Renato will be giving his farewell concert at Pjazza Teatru Rjal. In this concert Renato will be joined by some of the singers he has worked with most frequently throughout the years, together with the Malta Concert Orchestra.

13 August - Notte Italiana

The everpopular Notte Italiana by the Malta Concert Orchestra will see some of Malta’s leading singers interpreting evergreen songs from Italian artists such as Claudio Baglioni, Lucio Battisti, Laura Pausini, Zucchero and others.

27 August - Golden Oldies

The Malta Concert Orchestra with some of Malta’s top singers will take you back in time to a concert of Golden Oldies pop hits - for all those nostalgia enthusiasts. They will be performing songs by Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, and others.

17 September - MCO Swing

In this concert the Malta Concert Orchestra performs swing tunes made popular by singers such as  Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Nathalie Cole, Paul Anka and others. 

19 November - A Night at the Musicals

Whether it is the high-budget productions of Broadway or the West End or a small amateur production in a school or smaller regional theatres, musicals continue to attract audiences from all walks of life and have, over the years, produced some of the most immediately recognizable tunes ever. This concert will revive some of those immortal musical numbers interpreted live by the Malta Concert Orchestra.
